  1. Plans take place at the tables. Choose a plan and then book your spot to be assigned to a table.
  2. Wait until Wednesday 📅 — the day when tables are created.
  3. Once you’re in, chat with your group and organize the details.

2. What plans are available?

You can choose from four types of plans:

  1. Have dinner 🍽️
  2. Go bowling 🎳
  3. Go to the cinema/theater 🍿
  4. Take on a challenge/local activity 🏃

We match you with others looking for the same plan and vibes.

3. What is a table, and how does it work?

A table is a small group of up to 6 people that chose the same plan.

On Wednesdays, we curate tables according to the plans that were chosen. Once you join a table, you can start chatting with your group to organize the details of the meetup 🧑‍🤝‍🧑.

4. Do I have to pay to join a table 💵?

Making a reservation costs credits (our in-app currency 🪙). The number of credits required to make a reservation depends on several factors — including your activity level, preferences, and current demand.

This system helps us maintain real plans, reduce no-shows, and create a great experience for everyone ✨.

5. What happens if I need to cancel a reservation 📋?

You can cancel your reservation at any time without penalty — as long as you haven’t been placed in a table yet.


If you’re already part of a table and can’t make it, you can leave the table but keep in mind: we’ll only refund half the credits you used to join.

This policy helps keep plans stable and discourages last-minute table hopping.

6. How are plans organized?

It all comes down to joining a table and agreeing on the time and place we suggest based on your chosen plan. Once everyone confirms, just show up and enjoy.

To keep things smooth, we assign a table leader 🚩 — someone from the group who will take the lead and will keep things on track.

Being a leader comes with more responsibility, but also some exclusive perks.

7. What happens if I’m NOT assigned to a table after booking 🤔?

If we can’t match you to a table for the current week, don’t worry — your reservation will be automatically rolled over to the next week.

We’ll try again to place you with a group that fits your chosen plan.

You won’t lose your spot — We’d rather postpone your experience than place you in the wrong table — our priority is making sure the plan feels right, not just fast.

8. Is Pguins a dating app📱?

Not really. It’s not about matching — it’s about making real social plans with real people. 

If something more happens, cool — but the goal is shared experiences 🥂.

9. What is the general chat 💬 for?

The general chat is a place to connect with others in your city who are also looking for weekend plans. 

You can use it to invite people to join your table, ask general questions or chat with others (Sharing your contact information in this chat is not allowed).

It’s a great way to get answers and tips from more experienced users 😊.

10. Is it safe ☑️?

Much safer than meeting strangers at a bar. You get to interact with your group before meeting up. Plus, we monitor and moderate the platform 24/7 😎.
